This image was captured on June at 8, 2026 at The Great Sand Dunes National park in Colorado under bortle 2 skies. The Swan Nebula is located 5,500 light years away from earth and is located in our own Milky Way Galaxy. It is one of the largest star forming regions in the entire Milky Way.
